I am overjoyed that you stopped by! I'm Analise.
I was born in Texas, raised in Florida, with deep family roots in New Orleans. I began my journey with photography back in 2017 when I had the opportunity to pick up a friend's camera and document the birth of her third child. I was captivated by photography while capturing something so sacred: life. To summarize a highlight reel of life, the rush of early morning ocean dips, discovering new places, and long drives are things that I love, whether it is being in the moment, or documenting it. I enjoy traveling, surfing, and hiking, and I find gaining the perspective of different cultures so refreshing. Pursuing a major in Biblical studies and a minor in art, I am passionate about backing up art with something that gives it depth: the gospel. I am inspired by the nostalgia and wonder of nature, the raw love of humanity, and ultimately, the breath of the ultimate Creator, the one true God. Elohim, אֱלֹהִים. If I am not behind the camera, you can find me worshipping my Savior, King Jesus, through song, laughing hysterically with my family and friends, planning another trip, trying new foods, or sipping a good matcha. ARTIST MANIFESTO
From the very beginning, there was art. This art was from the very breath of God. "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. - Genesis 1:1-3
And so it was. Ever since our beloved Lord painted with divine light, the creative nature of God has lived on, and will continue throughout eternity. From the Mosaic Law to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, God was creating, and so were His people. Humankind was created in His image, commissioned to reflect His glory. We create in our own, unique ways, and those unique ways correlate to cultivate divine beauty. Beauty that displays the glory of Christ. Beauty that proclaims love, hope, peace, and joy. Beauty that ushers in glimpses of New Creation: streams in the desert and fruit brought forth from a dry and weary land. We were made with individualized creative capabilities from writing and poetry, to pottery, painting, and filmmaking. It's up to us. Will we use our gifting to communicate truth, goodness, and beauty to this broken world?
"If we believe that God raised Jesus from the dead, and that (as the New Testament insists) this has brought about the unexpected launch of the new creation, of the "Kingdom of God," on earth as in Heaven, then our present vocations really do partake of that New Creation, bringing fragments and flashes of New Creation to birth in the midst of the still darkened and sorrowing world. We are, like the spies whom Moses sent into the land of Canaan, and who brought fresh from the promised land to the people still in the desert."

While we lie between exile and promise land, we are to position ourselves as vessels to the Lord. Broken, but by His mercy, mended and whole. Shalom.
