THE TRONCALE FAMILY AWAITING THEIR BABY GIRL

The fact that Joe and Naika are welcoming their second child, a baby girl, is so surreal. I have a core memory that feels like yesterday, that is, Naika and I sharing a hotel room in Georgia and daydreaming about the future as she and Joe first began dating. 

A little while later, they were married, and a year after that, Enzo was born. Roughly two years after that, beautiful Emmi will have made her debut. 

It has been an honor walking with Jesus alongside the Troncale family. In the many years of our friendship, there have been high highs and low lows. Though every moment, the Troncales never ceased to praise. 

Naika has undergone major hip surgeries and she continued to bless the Lord and embrace His faithfulness. God's design is so beautiful, as shortly after her second hip surgery, I underwent my first. Naika paved the way as I watched her embrace the Lord's strength in her weakness. I could easily wish that she and I did not need to go through those trials, but I would not change it for the world. Naika and I both grew so much in the Lord, and our friendship grew stronger as we linked arms and helped one another feel seen and supported in the process. She is such a gift and a strong daughter of the King. 

​Now, they remain faithful and continue to bless the Lord as Joe fights cancer with such grace. His courage and faith is absolutely beautiful, and I know for a fact that once this season has passed, Joe as well as His beautiful family will have the most incredible testimony to share. 

Joe and Naika walk in such precious joy, laughter, and zeal for life, and I know their children will too. To know them is to love them, and I am honored to call them friends and grow in the Lord's strength in communion with them. I hope you're able to meet them someday too, because everyone needs the Troncale family in their lives.
