EMILY + KEVIN | ENGAGED

Just one look at these photos, I can see God's goodness so evidently! From his breathtaking creation, to Emily and Kevin's extravagant love for each other. I am writing this blog post while listening to Good Grace by Hillsong United; it just seems so fitting. That's the Lord, and he is in these details. The line: clean hands, pure hearts, good grace, good God, hits home and this precious couple represents it so perfectly. Emily is an amazing friend of mine. Someone so joyful, so pure, and so intentional with her walk with the Lord and sharing his love. It seems like yesterday we were talking about the recent blessing of God gifting her Kevin, and how beautiful relationships truly are. Now, engaged, planning their wedding, and looking ahead to the next chapter of life, the goodness of God is shining so stinkin bright, y'all! ​

​She told me how surreal it felt being in front of the camera, with her fiancé, for her own engagement photos. It was a magical feeling driving to our shooting spot, and seeing how excited she was not only for this session, but for what lies ahead. We explored a spot up in Sebastian FL, with gorgeous hills, dunes, wildflowers, and the beach right around the corner. It suited both our creative visions perfectly and made for a beautiful evening of creativity and fellowship. I am feeling so blessed to be able to be apart of these things, with the help of a camera and lens. Life is an adventure, and God is good!

And side note: in addition to Emily simply being an INCREDIBLE human, she is also a highly gifted creative in the photography industry, shooting both film and digital work for weddings, brands, and portraiture. We have been shooting together for about three years now, collaborating on styled shoots, exchanging branding work, and simply being creative and letting our minds wander. Go hype her up!!
