 A beautiful morning with a beautiful friend. This project seriously has me on cloud nine! The folks at @geodeswimwear were such a joy to work with, and I am so thankful Arielle (@808saree) was down to join in on the project. We began our morning with some shooting, and once that mission was accomplished, we ditched the cameras for our longboards. The conditions were beautiful. The water was crystal clear, the temperatures were mild, and the baby waves were perfect for gentle long-boarding. Surfing is such a divine experience, and I am so thankful to have friends like Arielle who share that affinity for both that, and creating. It is so fulfilling! Because of a variety of physical hardships I am facing right now, surfing can be difficult, but being out there is such an incredible reminder of God's goodness. He is so faithful and kind. It is reminiscent of the stones of remembrance throughout parts of the Old Testament. Surfing has become place to reflect, seek the face of the Lord, and thank Him for the healing He has accomplished and the healing He will continue to do. Deuteronomy 31:8 "It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."
