My aunt and uncle’s home is a space that inspires, fuels, and stirs up creativity. 

In every detail, their story is effortlessly woven. The places that hold their roots (New Orleans / South Louisiana and Rio De Janeiro) have a special place in their home through my aunt’s incredible paintings, photo books, and little mementos.

Everyday moments have a special spark to them. There is never a dull moment. My aunt, uncle, and cousin are filled with personality like no other.    

The animals are a part of the family and are treasured. There’s always a cat on the counter saying hey and being involved with dinner prep, a dog curled up on someone’s chest (or trying to talk to you), or a hen at the window saying whaattssUPPP!

My uncle is a talented photographer and truly gets the art. And by that, he brings his Leica everywhere (literally everywhere and I’m not even exaggerating) and captures the everyday moments. These everyday moments end up looking so unique through his lens that no one could recreate the image. 

A home feels different when artists live there 

But most importantly, the Holy Spirit lives there. And this sweet family loves big.
