NORTH IDAHO

These were the sweetest days spent in North Idaho! I flew up to photograph a vow renewal for one of my wonderful cousins and spent the first part of the trip with family. My cousin Stacey (she is my dad's cousin so I like to call her my aunt!) is the absolute best and it was so fun spending so much time with her and her family. 

After, I stayed with my sweet friend Sasha, and there is such a story behind this. In June, Sasha and I were both bridesmaids in a friend's wedding. We became fast friends. I shared with her that I would be traveling to Idaho to document a vow renewal. She asked, "Where in Idaho?" I shared, "Coeur d'Alene!" She told me, "That is where I live!" So, I extended my trip. 

We were blessed with the best time together. Quite honestly, it was drenched in the wonder and peace of the Holy Spirit. Do you ever look back upon something in your life and your heart flutters with a sense of beauty and nostalgia, marked by Jesus? That is the way I can describe this time. We swam crystal clear watering holes, drove up a mountain past all marked roads with no reception, frolicked through flowers, and played in the rain. It felt like a refreshing returning back into childlike faith, because in these moments, His presence was undeniable.
