To say this trip was a blessing would be an understatement. In July, I traveled to Southern California for the first time to visit my dear friends, Sierra and Pete, and their kids, Liam, Ada, and Ruby. Roughly four years ago, they moved to Vero where they stayed for three years. During Sierra and Pete's visits to Vero before making the full move, we became fast friends. It was so special - one of those things where it was impossible to doubt God's intentional hand. I am the oldest in my family, and Pete and Sierra have definitely filled the role of older siblings in my life.
During their time in Vero, they blessed our community abundantly and we made so many sweet memories, like girl talk and tea with Sierra, exploring imaginary worlds with the kids, and worshipping alongside Pete. When Pete sat me down and shared that they were moving back home, I was heartbroken to say the least, but I know that they are exactly where they are meant to be. Living with them for a week and seeing a glimpse of their lives proved that true. So thankful for this special time we shared, and I cannot wait to see them again soon.
