 The joy and the tension of waiting ~ Jen made this photoshoot with her first son, Pierce, awaiting her second son, so special. She invited me into their beautiful home, and every detail reflected who they are as a family. There were glimpses of places they’ve been, memories they’ve shared, and things they love. She had a few mementos collected from her baby shower, things friends brought to her with love and intention, that we incorporated. She assembled a quilt that each of her friends contributed to — a true heirloom. She and Pierce spent time doing what they love doing together, soaking up the time just the two of them before baby brother joins the party. And I got to take a step back and document it all.
